Taste

Taste – one of the most exciting ways to explore a destination is through their food and drinks! As a foodie, I most often rely on the destination’s culinary scene to influence my overall impression. From hole-in-the-wall dining to Chef’s Tables, I’m just a sucker for good food and drinks, especially with great people.

If I’m feeling lucky and ambitious, I recreate the magic in my kitchen with my “Travel at Home” inspired recipes. Check out #BGMWeats and #BGMWdrinks on social media for more foodie finds from my BlackGirlMeetsWorld’s adventures.

I’ve been a fan since the restaurant opened in the heart of Houston’s museum district in 2012. Lucille’s regularly claims its spot on all the popular restaurant lists (and for good reason,) so here’s my rundown on the BGMW top picks.
